Growing up in South Texas, I was blessed to be raised by a loving family that taught me about Jesus and in a church that was founded on The Word of God. I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior at a young age and have grown continuously in my faith. I grew up being active in my youth group at church, FCA, Young Life, 4-H, playing sports, Bible studies, and attending camps throughout the year. I was immersed in an environment that made much of Jesus! As I grew in my faith, not only was I poured into by mentors and community, but I learned the sweet truth of how blessed we are when we GET TO serve others!
After graduating from Texas State University, my husband, Brad, and I moved back to the Calallen area (near Corpus Christi) where we were both raised. We have been together for 20 years and by God’s grace and love, we have two amazing children – Luke and Jolie Cate!
I came on full time with Still Water in 2012 and serve as the Director of Staffing, Registrar, Overnight Camp Director in the Hill Country, and Champ Camp Director in the Coastal Bend. I desire to let others know how valued, loved, and with purpose they are in Jesus Christ!
Being involved with Still Water Camps is one of the ways that my family GETS TO share the truth and love of Jesus with others. Camp is a vehicle that God has given us to glorify Him and share the Truth of Jesus Christ so that others come to know Him in incredible ways, and we are thankful to GET TO be a part of what God is doing!
