CampUS Ministry - Still Water Camps

CampUS Ministry

Still Water Camps

The mission of Still Water goes beyond camp to provide continued investment, discipleship, and Kingdom-minded involvement for our campers and summer staff all year long. We actively engage in partnering with local churches and schools to continue to serve one another year-round through chalk talks, camper reunions, staff retreats, and other opportunities to fellowship together!

Local families host “NUEYO” groups led by high schoolers to train kids in Biblical Truth through fellowship and study. Our young adult staff meets in “War Room” groups weekly or bi-weekly to uplift, encourage and love one another well.

NUEYO 3:13 - Still Water Camps

NUEYO 3:13

N.U.E.Y.O. stands for “Never UnderEstimate Your Opponent.” These groups meet once a week to dive into the Bible, another Gospel-centered book, or a short devotional. Lead by high schoolers and other adults in their communities, NUEYO gives campers an opportunity to go deeper into their faith with their peers!

War Room - Still Water Camps

War Room

War Room is a time at camp where our counselors take a break from the busyness of camp and enjoy fellowship with each other and counsel from God’s Word from our Leadership Team… and that is exactly what it is throughout the year! War Room (either using technology or meeting in person) is an opportunity for our college-aged summer staff to take a break from the busyness of life and get into God’s Word while staying connected to their Still Water family.

Chalk Talk - Still Water Camps

Chalk Talk

Chalk Talks are one place where year round discipleship takes place for our campers. Similar to what we do at camp, this is a time where students will gather together on a regular basis to play games, grow in the Gospel, and have fun fellowship. But differently than what we do at camp, this gets to happen on a school campus!
