I grew up going to camp every summer at Kanakuk, then served as a counselor there for 3 summers, and absolutely loved it! I saw how the LORD used camp, counselors, and sports as a platform for the gospel in my life. I graduated from the University of Texas back in 2010 and went to Turkey for two years, where I met my husband, Rodney. Believe it or not, we both actually grew up in the DFW area, but of course, had to go overseas to meet – God’s funny like that!
Rodney’s the football coach at Mesquite Poteet High School in Dallas. We have three beautiful kids — Paul Wade, Ana, and Elenor. The LORD has used this ministry to bless our family in so many ways ever since joining the team in 2013, and we are humbled to also be a part of all that He is doing in and thru Still Water.
